One Hot Florida Room Can Be a Duct Leak, Not a Small AC

We already wrote that one hot Citrus County room is not an automatic bigger unit. This article is the leak version. If the air handler is cold and one Inverness bedroom never is, the run to that room is often disconnected, crushed, or leaking into the attic. Buying two more tons will not seal that flex. We feel the boot and look at the attic path before we talk about equipment size.

Prove the leak before you price a changeout
Write which room fails, whether the closest supply is actually cold, and whether the attic hatch smells like conditioned air. Photograph the room and the attic run if you can do so safely.
